Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 diced onion
- 2 cans kidney beans
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 cup Smith & Son’s Firehouse Hot Five Alarm BBQ Sauce
Directions
Brown the beef and onion. Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven and smoke at 225°F for 3–4 hours, stirring every 45 minutes until thick and flavorful.

- 2 tablespoons favorite burger seasoning

Directions
Form four equal patties and season generously. Smoke at 225°F until they reach about 145°F. Brush with Five Alarm BBQ Sauce during the final 15–20 minutes and continue cooking to 160°F. Add cheese if desired, rest 5 minutes, and serve.
